6 points is the highest score for each category. There are 5 categories. 各カテゴリーの最高得点は5点です。カテゴリーは5つあります。

Content/ Preparation: Is your content written well in English? コンテンツ:あなたのコンテンツは英語でうまく書かれていますか?

Memory Delivery: Is your presentation well spoken? 音声表示: プレゼンテーションはうまく話されていますか?

Pronunciation/ Intonation: Did you speak English naturally? イントネーション/流暢さ: 自然な英語を話せましたか?

Accuracy/ Complexity: Are there no mistakes in your presentation? プレゼンテーションに間違いはありませんか?

Overall Impression: Were you professional? Was your timing good? Did you practice well? プロフェッショナルでしたか?タイミングは良かったですか?練習はしっかりしましたか?

Aim: To listen to the video and 1) learn the topic, 2) learn the language

  • write the sub titles / headings
  • listen to the video to understand the topic

Objective 2 Learn the language

  • write the key words
  • use your dictionary and make a list – English / Japanese
  • write the grammar for the sentences
  • remember the words and remember the key points (target language)

HW lesson 3 – show the teacher your notes (every minute – 10 to 15 words) / 90 minutes

  • watch all of the video (4 minutes)

6 writing tasks:

  1. Write a short introduction about yourself (25-35 words)
  2. Describe yourself – if you were in a job interview (25-35 words)
  3. Explain your course work and study, and main motivation (35-40 words)
  4. Introduce your department at Morioka University to an exchange student from America (25-35 words)
  5. Do you think participating in a club or circle is important for university students? Yes or No. Explain your answer.
  6. Explain a problem in society in Japan. Give your opinion.
