Feedback through Instruction
Aim: To teach the process from going to a draft essay to a final essay; giving a demonstration of students draft essay.
Outline: focus on the guideline and check the following;
- paragraph format; body paragraphs; introduction last
- word count
- each main point paragraph has a topic sentence (sentence 1)
- each main paragraph has clear main points – facts of information and other support sentences; use references from your research
- other paragraphs, for example comparison paragraph uses information from the main point paragraphs. No new information can be used.
