Checklist: follow these steps, in any order, as many times as you want to (repeat these steps)
- check your time – read at a normal speed
- editing – sometimes we need to add words or a sentence / deleting words or sentences
Speech Preparation: to present it is important to use your speech card as a tool for speaking. This is not a reading exercise.
- Highlight the key words / phrases (about 10-12)
- Read – Look Up & Speak the highlighted text
- You do not have to memorize your speech
