Topic Section: Select more than 1 topic, to broaden your final choice and to complete the objective. Your final objective is to make a video.

Research steps:

  • start checking the internet for information
  • compare information – which topic has good ideas for you?
  • develop your ideas
  • finally select your topic (1 topic)
  • open a new PowerPoint – file name: culture3
FINAL VIDEO OBJECTIVE

Your final objective is to make a video about 1 topic. Select your topic carefully. Read the information below to consider how to make your video presentation. Follow these steps (in order):

  • create a slide to say why you selected this topic
  • provide 2 slides with information – select your information (your choice)
  • make a background information slide (research) and focus on i)experiences, ii)your opinions, and iii)give examples
  • make a slide to give foreigners specific details about your topic
  • Title slide (no name and student number)

Creativity: this is a new criteria to the Rubric. This is the ability you have to create something. You are required to do the following:

  • select the slide theme you want
  • select any slide format, including pictures and other images
  • text form: headings, sentences, bullet points
  • smartphone recording and technology ability
  • final impression

Homework: Complete your PowerPoint Culture 3 and bring to class; no video yet!

  • you do not need to share your video in LINE
  • you do not need to self-evaluate in LINE
