Aim: To update the “Reference” information in “Document A” (short report) to make your poster information

Document A: please remember to edit your document with new references;

  1. If you use information from the short report please reference in your poster; for example the video information use the reference [2]
  2. if you research the internet for more information, include the reference in your short report.

For example [3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physics; and use [3] in your poster.

Dec 14th – 21st

Aim: Create a poster; the language objective is to use the information based on (task 3) – 5 main points

Procedure: follow the instruction given by the teacher;

  • Create a poster in word document (demo)

Example:

Transition Procedure: Transfer your text to the poster, and include photos (min 3);

  • Use sentences for content, and;
  • Use bullet points
  • The word count for your poster (100 – 115 words)
  • Use English text format, for example Arial, Calibri….
  • Color text; and highlight key words

Nov30 – Speech

Aim: To write a 30 second speech using 3 slides

Procedure: Use the content from your responses (task 1 to task5) to report on the following statement:

Statement: “The importance of my own well being”

Method: How do you answer the response?

  • Select information from your content – you can not use all the information, because there is a time limit (30 seconds)
  • Content organization: prepare information for each slide carefully
  • Slide format and layout; slide type; titles; text – sentences or bullet points

Homework: follow these instructions;

  • Finish your slides
  • Practice and check the time (30seconds)
  • Use the discourse appli at home – check your vocabulary level (LINE me anytime)
