Do not take notes at this stage, just listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skill exercise<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Listen for the main points in the video<\/li><li>Remember key words or phrases<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 2:<\/strong>&nbsp;Watch the video a second time with English subtitles and follow the skill exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skill exercise<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Write keywords or phrases \u2013 also called topic vocabulary or specialised vocabulary<\/li><li>Identify the main points \u2013 write them<\/li><li>Identify the support sentences explaining the main points<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Short Definition:<\/strong> write the following sentences;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Introduce the meaning of the topic. We think that this topic is&#8230;<\/li><li>Explain main point 1. One of the main points is&#8230;<\/li><li>Explain main point 2. A second main point includes&#8230;<\/li><li>Explain main point 3. Additionally&#8230;<\/li><li>Give a group opinion. We think that this topic is important because&#8230;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Homework: <\/strong>there are two parts to the homework<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Part A: <\/strong>make a simple PowerPoint (group) and present the &#8220;Short Definition&#8221; in class next week<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Title: Introduction<\/li><li>Main Point name 1<\/li><li>Main Point name 2<\/li><li>Main Point name 3<\/li><li>Out Opinion<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Part B: <\/strong>Study the video and language.
